A Safe Place offers groups for survivors of sexual and domestic violence and their families, at various points in their healing process. Groups will be offered four times a year allowing survivors and their family members to participate within three months of the initial contact with the program. All groups are free and require an intake. An intake is the process of meeting the group facilitators so they can learn more information about your situation, place you in the correct group and determine if further services would be beneficial as well. If you are interested in submitting a request for group counseling, please contact us. Please note that it may take up to three months for a new group to begin and we can only start a group if there are at least four participants who are interested.
