Fundraising
A Safe Place must raise nearly 40% of our annual budget through fundraising efforts. The Board of Directors works diligently to fundraise so that all of our services can remain completely free to survivors and their non-offending loved ones in need. Currently, A Safe Place hosts two major annual fundraisers, a Summer Luncheon held each July with a well-known guest speaker and our Walk a Mile for A Safe Place event held each October. Please consider joining us for the next event and supporting the survivor work we do.
Walk A Mile for A Safe Place
Walk a Mile for A Safe Place is an annual fundraiser and awareness raising event held in October that literally has people put their feet down against domestic violence by walking a mile.
