The Linda Hoey Community Impact Fund is a special appeal specifically designed to honor A Safe Place’s In Memoriam Chair Emerita, Linda Hoey, and her passion and commitment to the importance of local outreach and community connection.

This fund will allow A Safe Place the ability to grow its engagement level via events, activities and education initiatives that promote healthy relationships with self and with others while creating connection and breaking the stigmas. This fund will not only bring impact within our mission here at A Safe Place, but it will create a ripple effect of progress within other arenas such as substance use disorders, suicide, mental health, and more as people learn to connect without judgment. The more we open the conversations, the less hard the topics become. There is nothing more important than putting continued education, necessary tools, the promotion of healthy boundaries, and the building of positive coping mechanisms in the hands of our youth and adult populations when it comes to creating lasting and sustainable impact for the society of today as well as our society of tomorrow.
