Walk A Mile helps fund our prevention and outreach initiatives within the Nantucket community with a goal of stopping domestic violence and sexual assault before they occur.
As part of our prevention and outreach, we provide age appropriate education and skill building to grades 3 through 12 in both the public and private school sectors, collaborate with the Nantucket Boys & Girls Club on programs and projects such as Date Smart and the Safe Home Project, and work within the island community on campaigns and events that create connection, awareness, and change while gently reminding all survivors that they are never alone.
